Thomas H. Thibedeau

ProvidenceThibedeau, Thomas H., 65, of Bergen Street, died Wednesday at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center. He was the former husband of Rosemary Y. (Scanlon) Thibedeau, of South Kingstown. Born in Providence, a son of the late Joseph and Rosemary (Farrelly) Thibedeau, he had lived in the Smith Hill neighborhood most of his life. Tom was the custodian for Saint Patrick Church, Saint Patrick School, and Mary House for many years. He was very active in the Smith Hill and Saint Patrick community, including volunteering at the Saint Patrick Monday evening Soup Kitchen, the Thanksgiving Day meal, and the church choir. Beside his former spouse, he leaves a son; Christian T. Thibedeau, two daughters; Jessica Thibedeau and Michaela Thibedeau, a sister; Carol Ann Marsh, a brother, Joseph "Tip" Thibedeau, and four grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday morning, at 9:00 am, in Saint Patrick Church, 244 Smith Street, Providence.
