

Cranston Timothy J. Hunt, 57, of Cliffdale Avenue, died peacefully Thursday evening, January 12, 2012, at Rhode Island Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Christine A. (Connors) Hunt. They were married for eight years. Born in Providence, a son of Cornelius J. and Blanche V. (Shea) Hunt, he lived in North Providence most of his life before moving to Cranston thirteen years ago. Tim was a crew chief in the grocery department of Shaws Supermarket for several years before illness forced his retirement in 2002. Previously, he worked as a produce manager for Almacs Supermarket for twenty three years. He was a 1972 graduate of LaSalle Academy, attended Bryant College, and was an avid New England sports fan. In addition to his wife, and parents, Tim leaves three sons, Timothy J. Hunt, Ryan P. Hunt and James E. Hunt; a brother, Thomas J. Hunt; three sisters, Patricia Civetti, Peggy Panzarella and Maureen A. Hunt; and six loving nieces and nephews; Michael and Matthew Civetti, Matthew and Thomas Hunt, and Alyson and Taylor Panzarella. The funeral will be held Tuesday, at 8:45 am, from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Saint Augustine Church, Mount Pleasant Avenue, Providence. Burial will be in Saint Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours Monday, 3 - 7 pm.
