Tomas R. Palmiere, Jr. , age 96 of Ford St. Providence, passed away on November 9, 2013 at Philip Hulitar Home & Hospice Care of RI. He was the beloved husband of Ramona (Rodriguez) Palmieri. Born in Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Tomas and Venecia(Santiago) Palmieri. Mr. Palmieri was a hard working, loving and caring person who was proud of his family. Loving father of Alberto and his wife Liz, Tomas, Ismael and his wife Marisol, Jose and his wife Angelita, Carman and her husband Anthony, Evelyn and her husband Sandro, Lucy and her husband Lindo and Elizabeth and her husband Gustavo. Grandfather of 25, great-grandfather of 30, and great- great grandfather of 6. He was also the father of the late Luis and Elsie Palmieri. His funeral will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2013 at 10 am with a funeral service to begin at 11am in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home 331 Smith St. Providence. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery in Cranston. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 from 5 to 9 pm.
