Velma Jeanne Sparfven, 56, of Providence, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center, in Providence.Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Richard D. and Merle E. (Foss) Sparfven.She worked as a property manager for MF Realty for the past 8 years.Velma was a loving and caring person who was devoted to her family. She loved spending time with her family and friends and always put others before herself.Miss Sparfven leaves her children, Marlaina Gomez, of MA, Sean Sparfven, and his wife, Yvonne Beliveau, Renee Sparfven, and Joseph Sparfven, and his wife Karissa Villa, all of providence; four brothers, Richard, Ronald, Eric, and Kurt Sparfven. She also leaves her aunt, who was like a sister, Sharon Del Carpini; and nine loving grandchildren.Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Velma's family on Saturday evening, January 14, 2017 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm, in the Russell J.
