

Victor F. Leonard, Sr., 89, a longtime Providence resident, passed away on March 5th at his home in Deerfield Beach, FL. He was the husband of the late Joan (Floody) Leonard and son of the late Frank J. and Dorothea (Harris) Leonard.
Victor was employed as a machine operator for Cooley Manufacturing prior to his retirement. He served his country proudly as a member of the US Army during the Korean War.
Victor is survived by a son, Victor F. Leonard, Jr. and his wife Sandra, his daughters, Jane, Lori, and Yvonne Leonard, and Christine Dube, a brother Frank Leonard, his sisters Kathleen Mattia, and Joy Generali, his grandchildren, Jessica, and Antonio Vasquez, Christopher Lombardi, Joseph Bright, Dillon, and Brianna Dube, Brittany, and Damen Leonard, Ethan Young, and his great grandchildren, Juliana, Talia, Audrey, Natalie, Jiovanni and Jeslyn. He was the grandfather of the late Victor F. Leonard, III, and brother of the late Ralph Leonard, Patricia Richmond, and Ann Beaver
Visitation Saturday morning, 9 am – 11 am in the Russell J. Boyle Funeral Home, 331 Smith St., Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 11:30 am at St. Raymond’s Church, 1240 North Main St., Providence. Burial with military honors in Gate of heaven Cemetery, East Providence.
