Vincent R. Porreca

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Vincent and Emma (Carosi) Porreca.

Vincent graduated from Johnson & Wales and later became an analyst for the U.S. Postal Service for 25 years before retiring. He was an Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War and he also was an avid gardener and enjoyed the outdoors and traveling.

He was the father of Stephanie Baldassi and her husband James and Melanie Baker and her husband Jason; grandfather of Angela and Christopher; brother of Donna Marie Santoro and Marie Harrison and uncle to many nieces and nephews.

His funeral will be held Tuesday at 8:30 am from the ROMANO FUNERAL HOME, 627 Union Avenue, Providence, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 am in St Rose and Clement Parish, 111 Long Street, Warwick. Burial, with Military Honors to follow in R.I. Veteran’s Cemetery, Exeter. VISITATION MONDAY 4-7 PM.
