Viola (DeChristofaro) Kohanski, 92, of Florida and formerly of Alverson Avenue, Providence passed away August 2, 2011. She was the wife of the late Charles Kohanski and daughter of the late Antonio and Concetta (Regina) DeChristofaro.
She was the mother of Kenneth Kohanski and the late Carole Ann Kohanski; grandmother of Kenneth, Jr. and great grandmother of Marissa; sister of Antonetta Guglielmo and the late Angelo, Sam and Fred DeChristofaro and Rose DiMascio.
Her funeral will be held Saturday at 9:00 am from the ROMANO FUNERAL HOME, 627 Union Avenue, Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Anthony’s Church, Plainfield St., Providence.
