Wilfred F. Herbert, II

Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Wilfred F. and  Nancy (Beaumont) Herbert.

Will worked as a tool setter and machinist for Ira Green & Raw Fastener for many years before his retirement. He was a proud member of VFW Post 183 in Warwick, and coached in the Elmwood Little League as well as the Edgewood Eagles for several years. Will enjoyed playing darts,high low jack, singing karaoke, and was an avid fan of the New England Patriots. 

In addition to his wife Cynthia, he leaves a son, Wilfred F. Herbert, III; five daughters, Tiffany M. Herbert, Kara L. Collins and her husband George, Amber L. Herbert, Haley R. Herbert, and Crystal R. Herbert; four sisters, Mary Vivieros, Tracy Hayes, Dana Banks, and Anna Hood; and eight grandchildren, Eva, Alexandra, Jasmine, Analyse, Junior, Jabari, Gizelle, and Aubrielle. He was the brother of the late Lisa Ward. 

The funeral service will begin on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at 11 am in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. Interment will follow in North Burial Ground, North Main Street, Providence. Visiting hours Wednesday, July 7, 2021 from 4:00 - 8:00 pm to which relatives & friends are invited.
