William J. Arnold, Jr., 71, of Carleton Street, died Friday at home. He was the husband of Paulette M. (Gill) Arnold. They were married for 37 years. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late William J. Arnold, Sr. and Irene Arnold Gibbons. William was a Maintenance Supervisor for Mine Safety Appliance Co. in Esmond, until his retirement. He was also a Lifetime Member and Bartender at the Greystone Social Club in Esmond. Besides his wife, William leaves two sons, William Arnold, and Bruce Arnold; five daughters, Nancy Micielli, Karen Letourneau, Andrea Carter, Gail Perry, and Brenda Arnold; two sisters, Debra Garcia, and Yvonne LaVasseur; and eleven grandchildren. He was the father of the late Dennis Arnold, and brother of the late Agnes Nelson. William's Funeral Service will be held Thursday at 10:00 am, in the Russell J.
