Deepest sympathies Raymond. Billy was a caring man. He was always willing to help the neighborhood kids with their math problems or just to give them some encouragement. He was an energetic guy with a gentle soul. Our prayers are with Billy and with you.

My Dear Friend Billy. You're with your Mom,. at peace. No stops for you... you went stright up my friend. Billy you are one the kindest Hearts on Earth I ever met. Years ago you worried about me because I did'tn eat breakfast and you wrapped up a box of cerel for Christmas, gave it to me and said "Keep it in your offfice and eat Breakfast. I will never ever forget that and it happend over 25 years ago. I still have the crocheted Pumpkin pin you made me and crocheted doilies. Now that pin and dolies hold even a more specail place in my heart. The fun and jokes we had when Bill in my Dept worked with us. I can still hear your one of a kind gut renching laughs,,,, which not many seen. You were one of my Best Friends and Highly respected by ALL!!!! I will miss you so much and remember I seen you less then 24 hours before our Lord took you and how we walked arm and arm joking and you asked "How come the weather got so cold so Fast" I giggled and I stated Bill,.. "your asking ME how come it got so cold, Bill your MY weather man you tell me" Everyday you kept all of us up on the weather temps when you came into work and Brightened all our days. Dear Ray Billy was truly a gift from God to all of us who knew him--those close and distant, those from the past and those in the present. When I knew Billy in high school, I saw his deep kindness, gentleness, and concern for others; and in reading the messages from his friends and co-workers, it's clear he carried those qualities with him throughout his life. I was very sorry to hear of Billy's passing. I worked with Billy many years ago at the VA and he was always pleasant and a hard worker. he will be missed.

I was very suprised to read about Billy's passing in Yesterday's paper. Billy was a KIND, CARING, AND GENEROUS PERSON. I can still he him standing in the back of church on Saturday evenings. Please accept my sincere condolence on the passing of Billy. He was the greatest, friendliest, most helpful employee the VA ever had. I have been at the VA for a long time and Billy always had a smile and a friendly word for everyone. I was just thinking and wondering about him recently. He will be sorely missed.

Billy, You are one of the kindest people God ever put on this earth! I will never forget how kind you were to me when my brother was in the ICU at the vets. I would sit in the waiting room and cry and you always, always took the time to sit with me and tried to make me feel better. I did not even know you at that time!! When I went to work at the VA I realized that you were that kind to everyone!!! You have suffered a great deal my friend but that is over now. I know my brother and hundreds of others met you when you arrived home. I love you my friend for all that you did for me and others. Nobody did it better!!!!!
