

CoventryWilliam M., "Billy" Grandchamp, 28 of Coventry, died unexpectedly Saturday at home. He was the beloved son of Jo-Ann (Caires) Rego, and her husband Norbert Rego, and William C. Grandchamp, and his wife Susan Grandchamp. Billy was involved in the family business, refurbishing homes, for the past several years, and previously worked at General Dynamics, Quonset Point, North Kingstown, for several years. An avid sports fan, Billy loved to wear his coordinated jerseys and matching hats, and loved to collect sneakers. He was a member of Club Frontenac. Beside his parents, he leaves two brothers, John Rego and Gregory Harpin; three sisters, Melissa Limoges, Tina Sroka, and Melissa Kaplan; his maternal grandparents, Edmund Caires and Barbara (Rathbun) Caires-Williamson; paternal grandparents, Joseph and Lillian (Cayton) Grandchamp; aunts, Paula Foster and Judith Caires; and uncles, Wayne Grandchamp, David Caires and Michael Caires. The funeral will be held Friday, at 8:45 am, from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road, (Rt117) Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Christ the King Church, 120 Legris Avenue, (Rt117) West Warwick. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, West Warwick. Visiting hours Thursday, 4 - 9 pm.
