Providence:William J. Stafford, of 100 Atwells Ave, passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at his home. He was the son of the late Wilfred A. and Anne D. ( Hammond) Stafford.Bill is survived by his sister, Anne D. Marzano and husband John; a brother David P. Stafford and his wife Angela; Five nieces and nephews and two grandnephews. He was the brother of the late James R. Stafford.Funeral will be held on Saturday, at 7:45 am from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:15 am at St. Patrick Church, Smith St. Providence. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.
