He was born in Puerto Rico, the son of the late Moises Torres and Josefina Cintron. Father of Josephine Torres and her husband Manny, Jorge W. Torres and his wife Yamille, Christine Torres, Victor Pagan and his companion Erika, Jorge L. Torres, and William J. Torres and his wife Veronica; brother of Mabel Torres, Marta Torres, Sonia Torres, Ramberto Torres, George Torres, Jose Torres, and the late Moises Torres; grandfather of Yamely, Victor, Jaylanie, Emmanuel, Jorge, Aavian, Yarelis, Ariella, Dorothea, Ivan, Gabriel, Verialis, William, Guilly, Mati, Jesse, Janelly, Johnny, Jordan, and Hector; great-grandfather of 7; and ex-husband of Maria Caraballo.
Mr. Torres was a self-employed mechanic.
Visitation will be Tuesday 2:00-8:00 pm with a service at 7:00 pm in the Pontarelli-Marino Home, 971 Branch Ave, Providence. Burial will be private.
