Adelyn M. “Addie” Hutcherson of Pueblo, Colorado, 89, passed away November 5, 2018. Addie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dick Hutcherson, with whom she shared over fifty years of happiness; parents, Christine and Pasquale Masciotra; siblings, Grace (Ludwig) Adamich, Jim (Anne) Masciotra, and Eleanor Masciotra. She is survived by daughter, Terri, and dog, Charlie, along with several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Addie had a marvelous sense of humor and an outgoing, joyful personality. She did not know a stranger and was always ready to step up and help out. Addie was a good friend, a good cook, a good seamstress and a lover of all crafts, but particularly ceramic painting. With a steady hand, she painted many Christmas memories for family and friends.
The family wishes to thank Pikes Peak Hospice and Palliative Care for their kindness, and the many BEO caregivers who helped her over the past few years with a special thanks to Sandy the “gem,” Kathy N. and Kathy L.
In lieu of flowers or food, the family requests donations be made in her memory to CASA of Pueblo, PAWS for Life Pueblo Shelter, Pikes Peak Hospice or a nonprofit of your choice. A viewing will be 9 a.m.,Tuesday, November 13, 2018, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m., both to be held at Our Lady of the Meadows Catholic Church.
