Agnes J. Shaner, 94, born August 29, 1918, to the union of Frank and Mary Vidmar, passed away August 11, 2013. She retired from the Colorado State Hospital in 1981. She was also a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Agnes is preceded in death by her parents; 2 sisters and 2 brothers. She is survived by her loving husband of 72 years, Noble O. Shaner; daughter, Karen S. (Darold) Stark; son, James N. (Gail) Shaner; 5 grandchildren; great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Richard Pucell; and other family and friends. Public viewing will be 6-7 p.m., Thursday, August 15, 2013, at T.G. McCarthy Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be 10 a.m., Friday, August 16, 2013, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on Fortino Blvd. with interment to follow at Roselawn Cemetery.
