Alfonso M. Sena, Jr., 92, born 1923 in Denver; passed April 11, 2015. He is survived by his wife, Natalie Jane Sena (Johnson), and many grateful nieces and nephews. Al worked as an educator and counselor for Denver, Loveland and the United States military schools in Europe. He impacted the education of many students, as well as his family members. He attributed his love of classical music to his membership in the South High Denver Orchestra. Graduating from South in 1942, the University of Denver in 1950, earning a MA in guidance and counseling from the University of Colorado in 1962, plus serving in WWII and the Korean War were pivotal hallmarks of his life. Funeral Service will be 9 a.m., Monday, April 20, 2015, Evangelical Free Church of Eaton, CO, followed by Graveside Service, 2 p.m., at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
