

She was born in Pueblo, Colorado on December 15th, 1948. Aliene was preceded in death by her parents Alfred and Beulah Icabone, her husband Dwight “Dooner” Montoya, and in-laws Eloy and Estelle Montoya. Survived by her children Dustin (Deborah) Montoya, Danté (Kelly) Montoya, and Alana Montoya, along with her grandson Zarrin Dooner Montoya. She is also survived by her brother, Ron (Cathy) Icabone; nephews Damon Icabone and Blake (Stephanie) Icabone; sister-in-law Dianne Chavez; and her long-time best friend Janis Colantino.
Aliene was a proud member of the Central High School Class of 1966 and a lifelong supporter of the Wildcats. She had a long and successful career in banking, starting in the mailroom at Minnequa Bank and eventually retiring as a Vice President. She was respected by those who worked with her and was proud of the career she built. In her free time, she enjoyed shopping, traveling, morning crossword puzzles, watching horse races, and she had a good eye for interior design.
Cremation and no formal services at Aliene’s request. Family and friends are invited to gather at the residence on Saturday, May 17th, 2025, from 2 to 5 PM for a time of remembrance and reflection.
