My condolence to the Montoya family! I worked with Aliene at Minnequa Bank. We traveled to Washington DC and Baltimore, Maryland on work trips and had a terrific time! I will always remember the fun we had.

I’ll always remember Aliene sharing stories over dinner after a long day of shopping, offering advice—or the occasional scolding—on our morning drives to school, making the best iced tea, and showcasing her unforgettable fashion sense. Thank you for loving me as your own. You are deeply missed.

I worked with Aliene at Minnequa bank when I was very young. She taught me so much about banking, style and living. A true woman of class and beauty. My condolences to her family and my deepest prayers. She was iconic.

Aliene was my boss at Vectra Bank (formerly Minnequa Bank) over 20 years ago. She mentored me and played a major role in my professional growth. I often thought about Aliene over the years, and today I decided to try to reconnect with her through Facebook. When I couldn’t find her, I searched online to send her a card — and sadly, I came across her obituary.

Aliene, you inspired me from a young age, and I am so grateful for the time, wisdom, and guidance you gave me. You were a strong, incredible woman, and I deeply admired you.

My sincere condolences to Aliene's family.  She was my Minnequa Bank co-worker, collaborator, sometimes co-conspirator, and friend.  She was always, smart, sassy, and beautiful - a force to be reckoned with.  I've missed her the last few years and will continue to cherish  many great memories.

Then got to work with her amazing  son Donte for many , many years at King Soopers . The memory I have of Dustin as a young boy is his love for his German shepherd Gemini  . I was very sad to hear about Aliene. She was a great mentor to me when I was employed at Minnequa bank. She was one of the classiest ladies I ever met. She was straight forward and honest.

I will most remember the beautiful relationship she shared with her daughter Alana that I was lucky to witness as her college roommate. And of course her impeccable style! Always the best dresses in the room.

I am so sorry to hear of Aliene's passing. I knew her through a close friend of hers, and always enjoyed visiting with her when she was in Denver. My sympathy and prayers for all of you during this difficult time. I know she was deeply loved and will be forever missed.
