Allen was a dear fun childhood friend.  He was tall and athletic and always a leader at Franklin Elementary.  Mike and I both have great memories of Allen on Alexander Circle.  My girlfriend and I would TP his house when we had a slumber party.  His poor parents.  Rest in peace Allen, you are not forgotten.    Karen Craddock and Mike Waters

When we had slumber parties we would always make sure we went to Allen's house to TP it with toilet paper.  It was a sign that we really liked him.  Crazy girls!
I also fondly remember him trapsing around the prairie as we Craddock kids did.  He was an outdoors person with a memorable smile!  Miss you Allen!

Dear family of Allen.  He was my school friend and the cutest sweetest guy in school.  He was the boy we would TP when we had a slumber party - because we liked him so much.  In the obit you said he was an outdoorsman, and that is true to his childhood.  I remember him playing on the prairie when I would be - little did he know that I had a crush on him.  His smile was one to remember!  Rest in peace my friend.  I'm so happy you had a loving family.  

To all his family and friends, I just wanted to stop and say I've known Allen for many years. I met him when I was 14 and he was 17. I still remember his 1960 Chevrolet Impala, he was so proud of that car. He dated my older sister and I got to know him pretty darn good.. he was an Avid Hunter and my first experience with him was going antelope hunting down east of La Junta Colorado and what fun times we had.. he ended up getting his Antelope, it was a 250 yard shot, but what a marksman he was.. we loaded the antelope up in the trunk of the Chevy and as we were leaving the kind of luck he had was astounding, we took off down a dirt road and ran out of fuel, as the gauge wasn't working properly and he thought there was more fuel,  and of course it was getting dark , and in those days there was no such thing as a cell phone..lol to make a long story short it was a long night before we found someone to take us to the nearest phone to call for help to get gas to go back and retrieve the goods.. the good times with Allen Samuelson will always be missed, and remembered.. to the family so sorry for your loss!

Allen was preceded in death by his parents, Eric Samuelson  and Gretchen Feuerbacher. 

He is survived by sisters, Sharon Clason and Mary (Jerry) Rish; 
children, Scott (Suzanne) Samuelson, Shannon (Brian) Smith, and Eric (Rebekah) Samuelson; 
grandchildren, Derick and Devin Samuelson and Lucy and Lily Smith; 
numerous nieces, nephews, and countless loved ones.
