

Anita Joyce LeBeau, 80, died early Tuesday morning, November 13, 2012, at Saint Mary Corwin Hospital in Pueblo, Colorado. She was born April 23, 1932, in Lakin, Kansas, to Sherm and Veva Cox. She attended school in Lakin, Kansas, through high school. On November 10, 1949, she was married to Rich LeBeau. Rich died June 22, 2007. They are survived by four children: Randy (Gwen) LeBeau of Amarillo, Texas; Michele (Tom) Cox of Pueblo West, Colorado; Jay (Mary) LeBeau of Edmond, Oklahoma; and Melody (Bob) Johansen of Denver, Colorado. Joyce also has one surviving sister, MaryLu Dechant, Denver, Colorado, and a number of beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Daryl and Charles Cox; a sister, Wilma Goulding; and a grandson, Matthew LeBeau. The memorial service will be held at the SonRise Church, 421 E. Spaulding Avenue, Pueblo West, Colorado, on Friday, November 16, 2012, at 1 p.m. MST. The family requests memorials for the purchase of bells for SonRise Bell Choir through the SonRise Church. A gravesite ceremony of life and burial of the ashes of Joyce and Rich LeBeau in the Lakin, Kansas cemetery will be scheduled and announced in the Spring of 2013.
