

Antonio (Anthony) M. Castro passed away in Littleton, Colorado on February 20, 2023. Anthony was born on December 4, 1932, to Portfilio and Santana Castro in Gardner, Colorado and joined in marriage to Eufemia Gallegos for 64+ years. He is preceded in death by his wife Eufemia, parents and eldest son, Raul. Anthony is survived by his two sisters Odelia Trujillo and Patricia Gallegos (Arthur), his five children Antanette Garcia, Richard Castro (Debbie), Carla Beauvais (Scott), Stephanie Bravo, and Gregory Castro (Jill). He is also survived by his fourteen grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces. Anthony spent summers helping with festival activities at St. Francis Catholic Church in Pueblo and attending services with his wife at St. Paul the Apostles Catholic Church in Pueblo West. Our Father devoted his time and love to raising his six children always with the purpose of instilling respect and dignity for ourselves and others. Anthony was a proud veteran of the Army. He worked and retired after 35+ years at the Pueblo Depot Activity as radiographer and non-destructive test specialist.
A rosary and mass services will be held at St. Paul the Apostles Catholic Church in Pueblo West on March 2, 2023, at 9:00am with burial services to follow at Imperial Memorial Gardens. The family will be hosting a reception following the interment at the Imperial Funeral Home Chapel. In honor of Anthony, as an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be sent to a Veteran's charity of your choice.
