Arlene Faye Ingo, went to be with the Lord on the morning of August 17, 2024. Arlene was born in Roland, Iowa on April 10, 1938 to Floyd and Audrey Larson. Through her 86 years, Arlene was a dedicated elementary school teacher, but more importantly a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother. Arlene married Fred Ingo on August 27, 1966, and together they had two sons Michael and Marc. As a mother, Arlene always put her family first and took care of many of the duties in the house, whether it be cooking meals, or keeping the house spotless. As a grandmother, she was always “spoiling” the grandchildren when she watched them on Fridays. Arlene will be dearly missed for her spaghetti sauce, green chile, and the yearly Christmas Eve meal of fish and lefse. For nearly 8 years, Arlene battled the effects of dementia and Alzheimers.
Arlene is preceded in death by her parents Floyd and Audrey Larson, in-laws Carl and Mary Ingo. Arlene is survived by her brother Bill (Deb) Larson, sister Bette Jean Tolley, loving husband of 58 years Fred, sons Michael and Marc (Wendi) Ingo, grandchildren Cody, Caden, Colton and Lindsay Ingo, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A special thanks goes to Bambi Creek and her staff from A Place at Home. A special thank you to Jennifer Hunter for taking such good care of her over the past year.
A funeral service for Arlene will be held Friday, August 30, 2024 at 1:00 PM at T.G. McCarthy Funeral Home, 329 Goodnight Ave., Pueblo, Colorado 81004. Following the funeral service will be a committal service at 2:00 PM at Roselawn Cemetery, 1706 Roselawn Rd, Pueblo, Colorado 81006.
