Dear Gonzales Family,

We are deeply saddened to hear of Barbra's passing. We were traveling out of state and unaware that she had passed. She was a wonderful woman and she will be missed. Our prayers and well wishes are with you during this very sad time.

I loved and admired my dear friend, and have many beautiful memories of our days at the Health Department. At the age of 95 I could not attend the services but I was there in spirit. I will miss her. Dora Martinez

I remember one cold snowy winter night in January, 1960, my mom went into labor and had to call Mike and
Barbara for a ride to the hospital; they made to the hospital on that snowy cold night. I will always remember their kindness in this situation. My mom and Barbara were pretty close during the time we cousins were growing up because they both worked out of the house (not many moms did in those days). Most of us cleaned house on Saturdays. I remember one Saturday Barbara Robert and Gary came over in the afternoon and Barbara said "we finished cleaning our house so we've come over to dirty yours" joking around. These are couple of memories I always associate with Robert and Gary's MOM. Our deepest sympathies are expressed to her brother, children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews.

Barb was an absolute pillar in our family. She was there for her family her entire life. Barbra will be sadly, sadly missed. Barbra's sons Robert and Gary served unwaveringly during their mother's final days, weeks and months and provided unselfish vigilance as an example to us all..
