Barbara Beatrice Sommers, 60, passed away October 8, 2021. She survived by her lifelong partner Theodore Espinoza; children Nellie Bierman, Nora Sellers, Ronald (Holly) Sommers, and Veronica Romines; brothers and sisters James Vaughn, Sarah Pfeifer, Cora Sommers, Lillian Sommers, Adam Sommers, April Gillis, Thomas Coen, Henry Coen; grandchildren and great grandchilren Ronald Rea, Raymond Ford, Barbara Sellers, Faith Sellers, Alexis Sommers, Carmen Sommers, Hunter Lovellette, and Athena Kirkland, Michael Riffe, and Robert Riffe. She’s also survived by numerous nieces nephews cousin other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Richard Floyd and Nellie Lucille Sommers, her brother Richard William Sommers; and her grandchildren Christopher Sommers and Lorne Sellers. She was a wonderful nurse most recently for Pueblo Cardiology. She was a loving mother and grandmother and touched many lives. She loved to cook, fish, camp, loved her Broncos, and loved to play card games but mostly loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She taught them to fish and to be good people. A memorial service will be held at a later date
