Everybody who leaves this world, for a better place, leaves behind a little piece of themselves...something for us to remember them by. Betty will leave behind memories that will last a life-time. She will also leave behind her two loving sons, Butch and Mike, 5 grand-children, 7 great grand-children, and many very close friends. Betty was born in 1934 in Pueblo County to parents Harry and Katherine . She was the youngest of 6 children, who have all preceded her in death. She married Elvin in 1952 and they were married for 39 years before his passing. Betty was a homemaker and a dedicated mother who treasured her children and grandchildren. She had a strong faith and was very active in the church. She enjoyed volunteering, crafting and in later years coloring when her vision couldn’t keep up with her mind. I’m sure many of you were gifted with her beautiful quilts, afghans, doilies, or colorings through the years. One of her last picture she painted hung above her bed at the time of her passing, it was of a bicycle with a caption that read “ Enjoy the Journey” which truly reflected her passion for life. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and caregivers.
