Betty was born on February 6, 1930, in Davenport, Oklahoma, to Henry and Mabel Gore. She later attended Palmer High School in Colorado Springs, before dedicating herself to raising her family and caring for those around her.
Throughout her life, Betty's greatest calling was serving her family, her church, and anyone in need. She was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ whose faith was evident through her daily prayer, love of reading Scripture, and compassionate spirit. Her life was a beautiful example of generosity, humility, and selfless love.
Betty found joy in cooking meals for those she loved, tending her garden, gathering with family for picnics, caring for children, and serving others. She also enjoyed bowling, square dancing, and especially loved the beauty and wonder of Christmas lights each holiday season.
She will be remembered for her beautiful smile, wonderful sense of humor, imaginative storytelling, generous heart, and willingness to help anyone in need. Above all, Betty will be remembered for the unconditional love she shared with her family and friends, leaving countless treasured memories that will live on in their hearts.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Mabel Gore; her brothers, Arthur Gore, Walter Gore, Floyd Gore, and Bobby Gore, her beloved twin brother; her sister, Maxine Coleman; her husband, Elvin Conley; her son, Charles Conley; and her daughter, Rebecca Kennard.
She is lovingly survived by her children, Mabel Liley (Greg), Richard Conley (Kathy), Elvin Conley Jr. (Tina), and David Conley (Liz). She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Zachariah Conley (Mindy), Joshua Kennard, Jared Conley (Brenda), Hannah Eberhardt (Jason), Lindy Ward (Jason), Celeste Sandoval (Daniel), and Janae Lisby (Johnny); 12 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who were blessed by her love and friendship.
A celebration of Betty's life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, July 16, 2026, at The Life Church. 36 Merritt Court, Pueblo, Colorado 81001. A graveside service will follow at Imperial Memorial Gardens, with a reception afterward back at the church where family and friends are invited to gather, share a meal, memories, and celebrate Betty's remarkable life.
Though she will be deeply missed, Betty's family finds comfort in knowing she is now at peace in the presence of her Savior, reunited with those who have gone before her. Her legacy of faith, love, generosity, and compassion will continue to inspire all who knew and loved her.
