

Betty J. Doyle, 89, of Pueblo West, CO, passed away peacefully to be with our Lord on Wednesday, February 17, 2016. She was preceded by her husband, John R. “Jack” Doyle whom she was married to for 60 years. She is survived by her 4 children, Sandy (Edward) Ueeck, Jackie (Bill) Bekeza, Michael Patrick, and Joy (Dr. Terry) Henderson; 6 grandchildren, Lori (Gil) Negrete, Tami (Bruce) Stotka, Allison Bree Doyle, Jayde (Joe) Easton, Taylor (Tom) Clarke, Laycee (Travis) Rexroth; 13 great-grandchildren, Joel Patrick, Carson Negrete, Tierney, Bailey, Ryley, and Sydney Stotka, Beck (Lindsey) Easton, Lexi, Graycie and Maddie Joe Easton, Jayce Clarke, Saydie and Sophya Rexroth; 1 great-great-grandchild, Easton Mora. Betty graduated from Bloom Township High School in Chicago Heights, IL in 1945. She held a variety of employment adventures until she and Jack purchased BJ’s Coffee Shop in Matteson, IL which they owned for 14 years until they retired and moved to Pueblo West, CO. She was an active member of the Pueblo West Gunslingers. In 2002 she moved to Presbyterian Towers in Pueblo. She lived there until Jack passed away in 2005 when she moved to Pueblo West to live with her daughter and son-in-law. Betty met a companion, Richard Buchholz, whom she enjoyed traveling and spending time with for the remainder of her life. She never met a stranger and she touched the heart of anyone she met along the way. Betty led a very active life. She was a kind, considerate, and a very loving person. Caring and nurturing of family was the most important part of her life. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. There will be no viewing. A celebration of her life will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 24, 2016, at Adrian Comer Garden Chapel, 2710 N. Elizabeth, Pueblo, with Pastor Dave York officiating. Those who desire to make a donation; we support the Joni Fair Hospice Center who gave loving care in her final hours.
