

She is survived by her devoted companion and partner of 43 years, Robert Madrid. Their unwavering love carried them through a lifetime of memories. She is also survived by their two cherished daughters, Tonya Woodson and Bernadine Madrid, who were truly the light of her life. Along with her six wonderful grandchildren—Gavin, Ian, Olivia, Xavier, Jordon, and Jett, each of whom brought her immeasurable joy. She also leaves behind her two sons-in-law, Lenny Woodson and Eric King, whom she held dear to her heart. She is lovingly remembered by her many cherished extended family members, who will carry her memory in their hearts.
Betty Jo’s cooking was her signature gift to the world. Those meals were more than food; they were love, comfort, and tradition served from her heart.
Throughout her life, she adored every one of her pups, 13 in total, who brought her companionship and unconditional love.
She had a huge heart, one that held space for everyone around her. Robert, her daughters, her grandchildren, and all who loved her will forever carry her memory with them.
May her beautiful soul rest in eternal peace.
