Pueblo native, Betty Jean Stefanich, 88, passed away quietly on November 2, 2018. Betty was the only child of Roland and Lois Williams. After the death of her father, Betty was adopted by her step-father Vern Watkins in 1942. Betty married William Stefanich in 1949 and together they had five children. Their partnership in life lasted nearly 60 years. Betty was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She committed her life to her family and being a homemaker. Betty made their house a “home” as her husband supported the family. She raised their children and touched the lives of their grand-children and neighbors by love and kindness.
