My mother left a great legacy in music. She played in the Pueblo symphony for 40 years. When she married her mother sent her the piano she grew up with. Mom taught all her children to play piano on it. The piano has passed between the Burns and the Worthey's and all her grandchildren learned to play on it. The great grandchildren were even able to play on it before it went to the next place in its family journey. Brittany and Nathan were married almost a year now, and all of mom's daughters (my sisters and I) shipped it to Florida as a wedding present. Nathan is the worship pastor, and Brittany teaches music and sings in the praise band. Denae plays in the praise band at her church. These grandchildren presented beautiful music for their grandmother at her memorial service. Such a sweet gift of music for a lifetime. Thank you all. Much love. Keep a song in your heart.
