

Candice was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, aunt and teacher whose love for her family and friends was at the center of her life. She was known for her fun-loving spirit, warm smile, and ability to light up a room with her laughter. Candice lived her faith daily, leading by example through compassion, strength, and an unwavering belief in God. She had a natural ability to uplift others, offering positivity, encouragement, and love even during difficult times.
A true leader at heart, Candice inspired those around her with her resilience and determination. She had a deep love for animals and a gentle heart for all living things, always showing kindness and care to those who needed it most. Above all, she cherished being a mother and took great pride in her children, who were the greatest joy of her life.
She is survived by her beloved children, Vito and Gianna Taravella; her parents, Todd and Susan Whittemore; her brother, Todd Whittemore (Caila); her nephews, Wyatt and Wade Whittemore; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins who will cherish her memory.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Leo and Eva Alfonso and Robert and Beverly Whittemore; her fiancé, Brandon Coggins; and her uncles and aunt, Paul Alfonso, Kevin Alfonso, and Rosemarie (Re) Alfonso.
Services will be held Friday, January 2nd, at 11:00 a.m. at Hoag Hall, CSU Pueblo, 2200 Bonforte Blvd., Pueblo, CO 81001.
Candice will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her loving heart, joyful spirit, and the light she brought into the lives of all who knew her.
