Carol Marie Franz

Carol Franz, 75, of Fountain, CO, passed away on Tuesday, the 24th of October in her sleep at home. Carol is survived by her husband of 54 years, George; son, Robert; daughters, Peggy (Wayne), Mary (Steve); granddaughters, Krystal, Katie, and Meagyn. Carol is also survived by her sister, Nancy (Joe) Hilinski, and brother, James Gardner. Carol spent most of her life as a house wife, raising her kids while her husband was deployed with the military. Carol enjoyed cooking, baking and going out with the grand kids when they came to visit from out of state. Later in life Carol turned her enjoyment to taking care of her husband when he started having medical issues. That joy changed hands when her health started to decline, and George took on caring for her till the end. Funeral arrangements are being handled by TG McCarthy Funeral Home. Carol will be laid to rest 2 p.m., Monday, October 30, 2017, at Imperial Memorial Gardens in Pueblo, CO, with Pastor Darryl Johnson officiating. The family would like to thank all friends and family for their thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.
