Grandma,
            Where to begin? I have so many wonderful memories with you. I remember cleaning the church getting it ready for Sunday's services, making homemade mac and cheese or cookies, watching Little House on the Prairie, The Walton's, or Highway to Heaven. I remember listening too and singing along to all the old church hymns, but the song I will remember the most was when you sang "One Day at a Time". I loved when you sang that one! 
Thank you for all of these cherished memories, I will forever hold them in my heart. I love you Grandma! - Melanie


Mom, 
You where the most beautiful person I have ever met , my heart hurts beyond words can say. You went above and beyond for so many people and loved by so many! 
Mom you where my Rock, my  heart, and I am so very thankful  to God my Lord  for sharing you with us  and  Raising us. You where not promised to be my momma  till I am called home… but you where promised a way to Love unconditionally  and to teach us  to be strong  and get by in this crazy world and you did it all… you where dad and mom  for 5 boys and 8 girls when  Dad was called home, the youngest 9 months the oldest 16  53 years you had to be both parents. You believed with all your heart that Dad will be waiting at the golden gates to be reunited so you stayed alone and no one to  share the Joys and failed days with as you worked  had food on the table and a clean home  scrubbing the floors on your hands and knees  washing cloths, hanging clothes out to dry, and took us to church every Sunday morning weather we where ready or not you wanted us to know God so we to can go to Heaven and be with you and Dad for eternity. Mom I think about how you would be standing in the hall crying so hard and felt so alone  I cried to… I will never forget that and it was often… the house always smelled like pin sol and everyone loved the smell. Mom one day one of many days I ditched school, I was sitting in the stair way  on the side of the house  with a door to close and I was smoking a cigarette and  I thought I was getting away with smoking and ditching school and I turned and looked at the wall where there was a hole in it that led to a bedroom closet and to my surprise there you where looking right at me all I could see was your eyes and my heart dropped to the floor  I was so scared cause I new you  wasn’t going to let it go and to this day  I can’t remember what punishment I got.  my memories of that  very second I got caught was  erased lol

My Aunt Carol was such a strong and kind hearted lady.  I am so honored to be part of the family that had Carol Keifer in it❤️ My Mom, Lois Garner was her Sister.  She raised thirteen kids as a single Mom and she was a breast cancer survivor.  Her love for Jesus was everything in her life.  She imparted this love for Jesus into each of her children.  I know she is in Heaven now with my Mom and all the family that have passed on before us.  Someday soon we will be reunited with  her in Heaven❤️ Rest in the sweet arms of our Savior, Aunt Carol❤️ We all love you and miss you so much ❤️ 

My Dear Sister, I am going to miss you so much, and all the fun things we used to do together. Grocery shopping, 2nd hand stores and you loved our trips to Cripple Creek. Rest in Peace Dear sis! Until we meet again! Give all our loved ones a Big kiss from me! Love you Sis!

Aunt Carol, you were one strong woman that was truly loved and blessed beyond measure. I always remember going to your house and smelling pine sol as soon as I walked in the front door.  I do remember you always having certs in church. You had certs and my mom had Big Red gum. And you were always close to the front row every Sunday. You set a great example for everyone. We had great times with you.  You will be truly missed by all. We love you and miss you. ❤️ 

My mom.taught me to be strong in life and to love all people ❤ my favorite memory is so many I can't just pick one there's so many I love you my mom and I'm going to miss you so much you will always be a part of my life 

Mom when it comes to Mother-in-laws, I hit the jackpot when I married into your family. It was great having you living with Carol and I for those couple years, wish it could have been more. If you see my dad or brother, please tell them I love them. I love you sweet lady!

It’s so hard to say good by ,you gave us the best memories. We’re all going to miss you mom .you are a beautiful soul ,I no your walking those streets of gold ,one day we will all be together again .love you mom .

One of my best friend left and went to see god and Jesus she was one of the kindest lady anybody would have meet she is the best person you could be friends with she had the best smile u would see

It's never going to be the same without you.  All my life is filled with memories that will carry me through for the rest of my life . You showed so much love through your daily life consisting of Songs and singing, playing the piano, cooking ( no one can cook like mom), and keeping the house clean and in order.  I believe mom's motto was " cleanliness is next to godliness." Mom was always reading the Bible and I believe that she knew more than anyone around.  I will miss the gatherings we enjoyed every Sunday.  We went to Church as a family in our own Special way.  Mom really enjoyed the family gatherings.  So much love and happiness.  Thank you Mom for being you and blessing everyone you came in contact with.  Very Special to many .  Thank you for calling us your angels.  We Love and Miss you. You will  Always be in my heart and soul forever and ever!! 💋

Mom you were every thing too me , for I will miss every thing about you the wonderful times we spent together , for you loved too play the piano and I loved hearing you play, for you thought yourself too play and you played it beautifully , I am so going too miss you, my heart is so broken right now, but I also know that you are no longer in pain and your no longer confused about what is happening too you! You had the most strength I have ever seen in a person , for you were and always will be so special too me, and mom, I promis to be strong like you, I love you so much , for God has the most beautiful angle of all and that’s you mom!! 

My mother Carol Kiefer was so amazing. There are not enough words to express how amazing she was. She loved the Lord and knew her bible from front to back cover. God was always with her through good times and bad. Life was rough for mom and our family, raising 13 children alone was tough and she knew she couldn't do it alone. We would often hear her singing one of her favorite songs, one day at a time sweet Jesus, it was her prayer as well. Because of my mothers faith, we all love the Lord. We will miss our Sunday gatherings singing, laughing, praying and having such a good time with her. She always welcomed us with a smile. Although her body and mind had deteriorated during her last few months of life she knew her children and could recite them all by name. We all will miss our precious mother but are happy she will suffer no more, being  reunited with our dad and other family members that have gone before her. Most of all being able to meet our precious Jesus face to face. Love you mom,  Debbie 

How much can you say about the most wonderful person. I hold so many memories.  Being one of the oldest amongst 13 children I have so many. The most important memory is mom always said she had no favorite she  loved all her children the same.  She did tell me once since I was one of the oldest to talk about Dad to all the younger ones because they would have no memory or little about my father. Mom was so dedicated to keeping his memory living. Mom told me a person is never gone as long as they are remembered.  Now Mom you I  promise to keep your life as well as dad alive.

Carol Jean Kiefer was the most amazing person I have ever known.
She had faith that surpassed all understanding. She always told me that she never could have made it without Jesus. 

When I was little I loved hearing my mother sing gospel songs. She loved to sing them. She had a little radio in the kitchen that was always on a Christian music station that she listened to all the time. I remember that her Bible smelled like certs with a slight scent of perfume.  I loved that smell and will always remember it. 

The first Bible verses I learned were taught to me by my mother. I can still recite them and they have been a blessing to me at different points in my life. I know it made her proud to hear me recite them. It was important to her that her children knew what the Bible says.
The scriptures that she taught me as a child stayed with me for my entire life.

Above all else, she wanted her children to know Jesus. She always said that "Your dad's last wishes were that I keep you all in Church." And she spent her life trying to make sure that happened.
 
Mom was only 36 years old when my dad passed away.  She never remarried and I believe with all my heart that she is finally with my dad again. 

She spent a lot of years struggling with life's issues on her own, but even in those times she has such faith.  

To say goodbye to my mother, I'd like to  share a Bible passage that mom taught me when I was around 6 years old. It seems fitting at this moment.

"Make a joyful noise unto the Lord all ye lands. Serve the Lord with gladness, come before His presence with singing. Know ye that the Lord, HE IS GOD. It is He who has made us and not we ourselves. We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise. Be thankful Unto Him and bless His name. For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, and His truth endures to all generations." Psalm 100

Grandma you were such a beautiful person inside and out . You had Such a big personality, always singing and cracking jokes . We all know you were tough and loyal to those who you cared for and always happy to see family . I wish I got to spend more time with you . But the times I got to talk to you and times I got to see you were always the best . I’m glad I got the chance to meet and spend time with such a strong and funny women , a women that has many stories and many strengths you have such a big family that misses you dearly we love you forever and always. Until we meet again at those pearly gates Rest In Peace grandma Keifer!
