Charles A. Bailey, 97, born on September 19, 1914 to Scott and Anna Thiel Bailey in Collyer, Kansas, passed away on May 19, 2012 in Pueblo, Colorado. He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Ethel Ryan who passed away in 2011 at the age of 98. He and his wife Cleta were married on August 5, 1940 and celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary in 2010. She survives along with children, Janice (John) Zobeck and Ron (Karen) Bailey; grandchildren, Scott Bailey and Andrea Bailey Rapson; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Charles was a long time member of the Shrine of St. Therese Church, graduated from Regis College in Denver in 1935, was a WWII veteran, and retired from Rainbow Bread in 1981 after 40 years of service on the south side of Pueblo. He had friends in every market he serviced. Family was a very important part of his life. He also enjoyed bowling in his later years.
