He was born in Bottineau, North Dakota May 21, 1924.
His wife, Avaril, family of five children, nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren survive him.
Charles served in the Navy during WWII and later enlisted in the Army Air Force. He completed his twenty years of Military service for his country.
Woody served in the division of AeroSpace SAC Command. He also worked in the Continental command of war. He was the administrator to serve with several Generals both abroad and at home. In civilian life Woody was Legal Manager in three law firms.
Woody enjoyed working with wood and made beautiful pieces of furniture. He loved to go rock hunting and had a rare collection of unusual rocks.
He was selected as one of the first in the country to be a Chief Master Sergeant.
A graveside service with full Military Honors will be held at Imperial Memorial Gardens on Friday, September 30 at 2:00 p.m.
A reception will be held at the cottage near the gravesite.
