November 27th 1947 - June 27 2024
Born to Louis and Vivian Zeman (née Mavis) in Ravenna, Ohio, departed from us in Pueblo, Colorado on a very hot and dry day.
Dad grew up as a Baptist in Kent, Ohio. His hobbies included camping, fishing, bowling, and car racing.
Dad excelled at metal craftsmanship and automotive mechanic skills—specializing in Bobcats and John Deere heavy duty equipment. There was absolutely nothing that Dad could not tackle and not get operational—a fond memory including a complete transmission rebuild with the Chilton bible book by his side.
Dad dutifully served in the US Army from 1968-1971, having completed a tour in Vietnam and was honorably discharged in October 1975.
Dad had a huge heart and helped many people. He would drop anything to serve friends, neighbors and strangers.
Be at peace, dearest Dad, knowing that we love you and enjoy your traffic free drive into the eternal sunset in your flame emblazoned ‘57 Chevy with the spirit of your wife, Loretta as your ever loving and faithful copilot.
