

Cheryl Therese Martinez (Mosco) was born on January 2nd 1955, to the late Angelo (pelo) & Eleanor Mosco in Pueblo, Colorado. She attended Mt. Carmel Elementary School, Seaton Middle School, and Centennial High School. She is the second-oldest of 7 children, with siblings Mary Lou & Louie Gallegos, Angelo Mosco, Janet & Stan Sandoval, Margie Mosco, Susie Mosco, and Nancy & Carlos Torrez. She met the love of her life Arthur, in 1973 while working at Passkey’s restaurant. They dated for several years, then got married at Mt. Carmel church in Pueblo, Colorado, on May 14th 1977. The Lord blessed them with four amazing children, two son in laws and a daughter in law: Tiffany & Johnnie, Shurrie & Darrin, Zerek & Crystal, and Andrew also nine beautiful grandchildren: Mikey, Benji, Mayson, Tatiana, Atticus, Lazarus, Little Johnnie, Oceana and Karmen. And they also were blessed to have numerous nieces and nephews to love! Through her life she was such a light while working for a few different ncompanies such as Passkeys restaurant, Estes Rockets in Penrose, 7 eleven, Loaf N Jug and Star drug! But the most important job she ever had in her eyes was being a stay at home mom which she was amazing at. She loved to spend time with family & friends, bake for holidays, color, do word puzzles, gardening, sowing, camping, fishing, drawing and poetry! She also loved to be in the kitchen cooking with her youngest son Andrew! Cheryl was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, auntie, niece and most of all friend! She was kind, selfless, hardworking, patient, curious, courageous, strong, loving, caring, gentle, forgiving, funny and loyal! She loved everyone so very much! She also developed a love in the last few years of her life for the person who became the number one in her life and that was Jesus!! She gave her life to Jesus in February 2026 and was on fire for him! She loved Jesus and wanted to share him with everyone she possibly could! She was absolutely a pillar for her entire family and will be dearly missed! She went home to be with the Lord on August 25th 2026. Her Viewing will be held on Friday the 4th of September 2026 at Imperial Memorial Gardens Funeral, Cremation & Cemetery at 5450 Hwy. 78 West Pueblo, Co. 81005 from 11:30am - 2:30pm, then a Celebration of Life Reception will follow from 3pm - 6:30pm at Fulton Heights Community Center 1331 Santa Rosa St. Pueblo, CO. 81006.
