Christopher Rivera, 41, passed away on June 17, 2026. Christopher graduated from Pueblo East High School in 2003 and then from Colorado State University-Pueblo with a master’s degree in history. Upon graduation, Christopher taught history and social studies classes across Colorado. He had a passion for sharing world events with his students. He is preceded in death by his mother, Christine Lopez; and his grandparents Mike and Theresa Romero. Christopher is survived by his brother, Robert (Kelly), sister, Rebecca (Shawn); nieces, Faith, Hope, Grace and Mikalah; Aunts and Uncles, Michael (Karole), June (Tom), Vincent (Bertha) and Caroline, and many dear cousins, friends and other relatives. A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 31, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Imperial Funeral Home. Interment and reception will follow.
