

Clarence Grant McBride, born August 15, 1919, in Manzanola, Colorado; passed away September 7, 2012, in Pueblo, Colorado, at the age of 93. Preceded in death by his beloved wife of 56 years, Bonnie; a grandson; his parents; two brothers and four sisters. He is survived by his children, Gary (Imogene) McBride, Donna (Terry) Buckallew, and Betty Berger. He is also survived by four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and many special friends. Clarence graduated from Manzanola High School in 1939. He was a United States Army Veteran of World War II. He served in several campaigns: New Guinea, Bismarck Archipelago, Southern Philippines and Luzon. He received the Asiatic Pacific Service Medal, American Defense Service Medal, Philippine Liberation Ribbon with two Bronze Service Stars. Clarence retired from District 60 as a custodian at Central High School. He spent his last three years at University Park Care Center. He enjoyed those years with his many friends.
