

Dale (Model T) Adams was born May 4, 1933 to Lee Joel Adams and Florence Gertrude Jackson in Athens, Michigan. Mr. Adams was raised on the family farm along with his 8 siblings. He Graduated from Athens High in 1951. After Graduation he enlisted in the Army. He was stationed in Fort Carson where he met and married Elizabeth Thompson in November of 1954 and divorced in 1972. They had five children, Debbie Kae (Dec’d), Paula Barber, Becky (Pat) Wareham, Dale (Butch) Adams, Lucky (Dawn) Adams, Vicky Adams (Daughter in-law) Mr. Adams was blessed with Twelve Grand Children Kristine (Shawn) McQuown, Amanda (Dustin) Rockeny Nicholas (Mami) Wareham, Ethan Wareham, Desireah (Phil) James, Brandon (Melissa) Adams,Shelby (Kyle) Bicknell, Erika Adams, Emily Mae Crone, Evalynn Adams, Derek Adams, and Twenty-one Great Grand Children. Extended Family Vicki Million and Melissa Scott, four Grand Children and two Great Grand Children. Mr. Adams had numerous Nieces, Nephews.
Mr. Adams valued hard work which he instilled into his children. He was a proud Veteran of the US Army. Mr. Adams was a long-time resident of Pueblo. Mr. Adams was an employee at the CF&I from 1956 -2009. He worked in many departments – Open Hearth Mill, Seamless Mill and the Tubing Mill. Mr. Adams loved antique cars, his pride and joy was his 1926 Model T Ford. He was known at Model T and the Steel Mill. He enjoyed taking his Model T to parades and car shows. Mr. Adams enjoyed tinkering and was very talented in fixing just about anything.
Mr. Adams passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on June 8, 2022
Mr. Adams is preceded in death by his parents, daughter Debbie Kae, Grandson Newman Barber,siblings Leonard, Harold, Richard, James (Bud) Adams, Sister Edna Otis.
Mr. Adams is survived by his sister Donna Fast, Dorothy Adams and brother Thomas (Tom) Adams.
The service for Mr. Adams will be Saturday, June 18, 2022 at the Church of Latter Day Saints Stake Center at 2:00 pm, 4720 Surfwood Lane, Pueblo, Colorado. There will be a memorial in September in Michigan where his final resting place will be (time and location to be announced).
