Dan Harmon finished his race on Saturday, March 8, 2014. Born in Logan, Kansas on June 21, 1935. He was a Paratrooper with the 11th Airborne Division and served in Korea with the 508 Airborne Regimental Combat Team. He retired from the CF&I Steel Mill with 30 years of service and School District# 60 with 15 years of service. Survived by his wife, JoAnn; daughter, Dana Jo (Randy) Clark of McPherson, Ks; son in-law, Greg Doll of Goodland, Ks; 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and sister, Iva Lee (Gerald) Putnam. Dan was preceded in death by his daughter, Vickie Doll; and parents, Rev. Preston and Venice Harmon. Cremation has taken place.
