Darlene Armijo, 64 passed away 03/13/2024 in Colorado Springs. She was the partner of Chris Campos, they shared 25 years together. Born in Pueblo Colorado, she was the daughter of Charles and Bertha Armijo. She graduated from Central High School, and earned a bachelor’s degree from Adam’s State University. She worked in banking for 30 years, before taking a job at the Dorcy Cancer Center at St Mary Corwin hospital where she has been for the last several years. She was a die hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan, terrible towel and all. She was also a die hard Yankees fan, her son would say she had blue and pinstripes in her blood. Darlene was a kind hearted woman, who always had a smile and was always there when you needed her. Her smile will be missed the most. She loved her family and loved the Lord. She is survived by Chris Campos, children Ryan and Shannon Incerto, Noah Incerto, Mike and Andrea Altuner, Chris JR and Teresa Campos. Grandchildren Ali and Daniel Hanson, Averi and Bruno DeRose, Christopher, Tymber, Micah, Isabel, Charley, Ayla and Bertie. Her brother Manuel, and sister Diane. Funeral services will be held Friday March 22nd at 11AM at the Imperial Chapel, burial to follow.
