I hadn't seen Gene in over thirty years. But when I saw his photo in the obituaries it brought back so many memories.
We were roommates for a while in the 70's and lived west of city park. He worked at meat packing plant and brought home the best steaks ever. He drove a big green Grand Torino. We killed a lot of brain cells back in the day.

Think where mans glory most begins and ends.
And I say my glory is I had such a friend "Yates"
