David Jay Ryver passed away at home October 12, 2018 with his wife of 59 years by his side. He was born February 21, 1931 in Grand Junction, CO. Later his parents moved to Salida where he attended school and graduated. He was very active in sports. After graduation, he joined and served four years in the US Air Force. Most of those four years were served in England. After returning home he went to Western State College in Gunnison, CO and then the University of Boulder. After graduation he went to work and retired from Shell Oil Company. He enjoyed making jewelry, collecting coins and working crossword puzzles. He leaves behind his wife Charliene, son Steve (Vicki) Webber of Florissant, CO, nephew Grant (Ginger) Cicerelli of Pueblo, and other relatives and friends. A Graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 18 at 2pm at Imperial Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Pueblo.
