David Lawrence Stevens

David L. Stevens passed away Sept. 14, 2017. He was born July 19, 1947, in Salem, Oregon. He is preceded in death by his parents Velma and Clifford Stevens, brothers Robert Stevens and Dan Stevens. Survived by brother Marvin Stevens and numerous nieces and nephews.

David leaves behind many caregivers including his Legal Guardian The Arc of Pueblo, CARE, Community Residential and Respite and most recently, Genesis and The Resource Exchange. David worked at Pueblo Diversified Industries for 28 years. He loved to dance, fish and watch his Cowboy shows. Heaven has a new sheriff in town. Many thanks to Hospice as we know that David’s soul was filled with joy and his thoughts with peaceful things. He gladly swapped his cowboy hat for a halo, harp and angel wings.

Services: October 2, 2017 Viewing at 9 am Services at 10 am at TG McCarthy’s chapel located at 329 Goodnight Ave Pueblo CO

A celebration of life to include lunch and a balloon release will follow at Pueblo Diversified Industries 2828 Granada at 12:00 noon
