Deb Pacheco, 69 of Colorado City passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 7th. Preceded in death by her parents, William and Mona Dailey; brothers, Albert Courchene, Bruce Dailey; her furry friends, Jenny, Rufus, Mr. Helper, Haro, Worthless, Uncle Bear, Lovey, Fat Man, Gracie Lee and Poncho.
She was the best wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother any one could have asked for. Survived by her loving husband and best friend of 40 years, Robert Pacheco; Siblings, Ted Dailey, Alberta Turgeon, and Kathy Sandoval; Children, Samantha Carillo (Mark) of Las Vegas NV, Melissha Williams (Eric Maxam) of Colorado City CO, Rebecca Long (Chris) of Westminster Colorado CO, and Angus of the family home. Deb was raised in Blend and graduated from Pueblo County High School in 1968. She enjoyed motorcycle rides in the mountains and cooking. Best cook in the world. A perfectionist in everything she did at home or at work. Over her life she held down several jobs even though keeping up a household was a full time job. She worked at Pepsi-Cola Pueblo for over 10 years, Denver Coca-Cola for 10 years and at Western Disposal Boulder for another 10 years. Deb was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Rye. A special thanks to Vianne Powers who brought communion, special stories and friendship to Deb since she was unable to attend mass. The family also wants to thank Jackie Casey who took such great care of Deb over the years especially since her stroke. One more thank you to Melissha and Chief for all your help and love this past 2 years. A funeral mass will be held Friday October 16, 2020 at 11:00a.m. A private service invitation only please, due to the capacity available and social distancing.
