Deborah Lynn Turner
April 18, 1958 – July 5, 2019
Deborah Lynn (Galyean) Turner Debbie, as she affectionately was known as, went to be with the Lord on July 5, 2019. She was 61 years young. At the time of her death she was surrounded by her loving family. She leaves behind the one true love of her life, Gerald; they had been married 33 years; her children, whom she cherished, Misty (Paulo) Amaya, Levi (Danielle) Turner, and Liberty (Lacey) Turner. She had 5 grandchildren whom she adored, Adacia, Isaac, Rio, Dublin, and Sky. She is survived by brother, Tony Galyean; sisters, Jan Galyean, Ina (Phil) Olson, Charlotte (John) DiIorio, and Diane Ward; special aunt and uncle, Barbara and Ikie Caudell; and best friends Rita and Jose Flores. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews whom she also adored. Debbie loved life and it showed in everything she did. Debbie did many projects inside and outside their home. Their home was her labor of love. You can be sure there were many fine details in everything she did. She worked as hard as any man, but she was as feminine and beautiful as any woman. She nursed baby cows, sheep, kittens, horses and her favorite dog Hope to health. She did not die without a fight. She fought the cancer until her last breath had been taken. She did not die with a lot of riches in the bank; she spent what she made on family vacations, or on whatever her family needed. No one ever went hungry or homeless with Debbie around. To know her was to love her and we are going to miss her more than any words can describe. In lieu of food and flowers please make a donation in her name to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, July 11, 2019 at Imperial Funeral Home.

Debbie and I are cousins. We spent a lot of time together in our childhood. Her sister Jan and I would try to keep Charlotte and Debbie away from us. We were 'older' you know. We had so much fun while visiting our grandparents! She was spunky and sweet and just a little bit rebellious. :) Love her dearly and will miss her so much. Keeping you in my prayers John, along with the rest of the family. Hold Gods promise of restoration in your hearts. For you know where she is and that she will be restored to you one day!
Love you all!

Gerald and family, over the past year and a half I want to say thank you for allowing me to be major part of her my sister Debbies life. I was so blessed! The memories she left me with will be forever be in my heart! She taught me the true beauty of grace, courage, and how to love unconditionally . We danced, we cried ,we laughed, and we prayed for strength and healing. I loved her so very much and will miss her until we are together again. I love you all, Charlie

Gerald, my wife, Sheryl, and I share in your sadness. Even though you were aware that this time would come for her passing, knowing didn't really help. The empty spot in you home is there. Time will lighten the sadness that you now feel, and you will remember the good times that you shared with Debbie; and the empty spot in your home will seem less so empty.
I didn't really know Debbie, but I remember the good relationship that I experience with you, Calvin and Jeff.
Stay strong and face each day with the determination that the next day will be even better.

Deb and I grew up together. We experienced a lot of firsts together, good and bad. I had no sister and she was mine growing up. We married and went our own ways but when we saw each other it was like we were never apart. I'll remember her always. I love her.
