Deloris Jane Felker

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Deloris Jane Carpenter Felker on June 16th at 82 years old. She passed peacefully at home in Pueblo, Colorado surrounded by family.

Deloris, born on Sept 8th, 1942, was one of six children born to J. Oliver & A. Lucile (Eagles) Carpenter of Joplin, Missouri. Siblings include Anne (Dave) Nichols, Marie (Richard) Good, Frank (Tina) Carpenter, Robert (Sandy) Carpenter, and Steve (Connie) Carpenter.

Deloris had three children, Gary Felker (deceased), Terry (Dave) Kelly, and Michelle (Robert) Webster. She was blessed with eleven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-children, and many, many more who lovingly called her Grandma Dee.

Deloris was a longtime waitress for Denny’s, working in several states over many decades. She enjoyed multiple hobbies, such as sewing, cake decorating, creating flower arrangements, and candy making. She was known to spend hours pleasantly humming while working on treats or decorations for the latest holiday, wedding, or baby shower.

A celebration of life will be held in Greenfield, Missouri in September. We welcome flowers or plants at gravesite or a donation in her honor to your favorite charity.

She was truly loved and will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
