Dixie Lee Sisson, 85, was an enigmatic, gifted and seemingly supernaturally strong woman, who always stood for what she believed in. She loved the mysteries of life and never stopped being a student of the universe. Dixie learned something new and fascinating every day of her life, never missing her mystery and miscellaneous forteana shows, and her faith in love showed in her affection for cheesy romance flicks. She adored animals, especially horses and was married to the same man for 67 years. Dixie's love and strength lives on in the love of her life Ray, her two sons Mark and Bryan, her only daughter Tass, two grandchildren Zachary and Tjenuvial; and two great grandchildren Zoe and Violet. She was preceded in death by her parents Lena and Fred McConnell, sisters Martha and Phyllis, and brothers Fred and Frank. Memorial Service will be at 2 p.m., August 17, 2019 at TG McCarthy Funeral Home.
