Dolores Griego, 91, of Pueblo, Colorado went to be with the Lord on June 4, 2021. She was currently residing in Tempe, Arizona. She was born February 17, 1930 in Springer, New Mexico to Jose and Solome Sandoval. She was married to Augustin “Red” Griego for 65 years when he passed away in 2016. Survived by her children Lola Ybarra, Lora (Tooty) Madrid, Ben (Char) Griego, Joe (Lori) Griego, Jim (Pat) Griego, Tony (Pearl) Griego, one brother, six sisters, 13 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Dolores did the bookkeeping and miscellaneous tasks for the family business. She was a strong, faithful woman and she and her husband raised their family with Christ as the center of their lives. She was a member of the Moose Lodge for many years.
Rosary will be Friday, July 2nd at 1:30 pm at St. Mary Catholic Church in Pueblo followed by a Funeral Mass at 2:00 pm with Interment to follow at Imperial Cemetery. No reception due to Covid-19.
