Donald Lira, 76, passed away March 12, 2012. He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 50 years Cecilia Lira; children Don M. (Suzanne M.) Lira and Renee (Jamie) Green; grandchildren Kayla Rae Green, Dominic C. Lira, Sarah Lira and Daniel Lira. He is also survived by numerous cousins and friends. Donald served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He retired from teaching at Centennial High school in 1997. He was a member of The Shrine of St. Therese Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus Council 12720 , K of C Assembly 2977, and the Sky Corral RC Club. Viewing today 1-5 pm, Imperial Funeral Home, Rosary today 7:00 pm with mass Monday 2:00 both at The Shrine of St. Therese Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Therese Catholic School Scholarship Fund in his name.
